Every dish was delicious. We enjoyed the curry rabbit, jerk chicken, chili and conch chowder. Very authentic flavours, as you would expect from a Carribean owner. Extremely friendly team and a longstanding local business. What's not to love!

Second time flying in here for the restaurant, and we had the lunch this time. Oxtail dish was delicious, very flavorful, would highly recommend! Mango tea was great and our server kept our glasses full. I also had the chili which was yummy! I tried my husbands corned beef sandwich it was excellent (we had the corned beef hash last time for breakfast, also wonderful)! The short wait on a busy Saturday was well worth it!!

I don't even want to write this because this tiny little place is busy enough already! Haha The wait was about 1 hr (it was a Sunday around brunch time) We almost left. SO GLAD WE DIDN'T. I've been wanting to try this place for a while and finally did! OMGGGG so good. Chef Tony is just the coolest! ALL of the cooks and wait staff were THE BEST. The whole place is quaint, nostalgic, and just charming. I love the island/Reggae vibe and the caribbean/airport spin on everything "normal" on the menu. What a pleasant surprise this place was! I would not be sad if I got the eat here once per week! I had the eggs benedict and the hollandaise sauce was unlike any I've ever tasted-so delicious. My BF got the French toast and "real" maple syrup. How delightful. Also, try the hot sauce. YUM. I bought a bottle. Sit at the counter for the full experience. I cannot wait to go back and try the next thing I was eyeballing on the menu!

I always have luck when trying cafes at small airports. I think i hit the CHAMPION of cafes here in Venice FL. Here for an extended work project and glad i have found the right place. Corned beef hash was one the best if not the best I have had. Our waitress (Krissy, who deserves her own post for her service, attitude, personality, and her passion) suggested we try the chefs pancake as a substitute for our side. The pancake looks like a pancake, but somehow they have made this something special. Worth a try, worth the drive, worth your time!

One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had! I got a basic pancake, eggs, and bacon, and it was so savory and delicious. It had tons of flavor and was not bland at all. The cold brew was the best cold brew I’ve ever had; it had tons of flavor and it just tasted great to the tongue. It was a local roaster that makes beans fresh, so it definitely was the real deal. The staff were very friendly, and it definitely was the old Venice feel I enjoy. DO NOT miss this amazing place; it’s really good and something you don’t want to miss out on!

Small town atmosphere where the customers are treated as friends and family. Great food and excellent choices. We came for a Sunday brunch and enjoyed our window seat with a close up view of the airplanes. This place is a definite gem.

Just had the most AMAZING lunch at the Suncoast Cafe at the Venice airport. My husband had the Cuban sandwich and he said it was the BEST outside of Tampa/Ybor City (which come to find out is from La Segunda located in Ybor City) he has tasted. He grew up in Tampa and ate them often so he knows his way around a Cuban. This restaurant is a hidden gem located within the Venice airport. We’ve lived here for 3 years and only recently discovered it. The service is also amazing. The servers are kind, accommodating, and very friendly! Serving breakfast and lunch, the food is fantastic. Servers Brooke, Krissy and Jess are the best. The food is fresh, fabulous, and so worth a visit.
